    Chief Executive

    Pharmacist John Carroll founded and established Axium Buying Group in 2009. Axium is the largest independent community pharmacy buying group in Ireland, supplying over 580 independent pharmacies. John is originally from Kerry and now lives in Kildare with his family.
  • Aisling Smith
    Head of Business Relationship Management
    Aisling joined Navi in 2017 via our graduate programme. She spent some time in OTC Buying before moving on to the position of Retail Operations Manager, managing a group of our franchisees. In her current role as Head of Business Relationship Management, she manages all customer relationships across franchise, broker, IT & marketing.
  • Finn McCann
    Chief Technology Officer

    Finn brings 25+ years’ experience to his role as Chief Technology Officer, including the successful delivery of IT projects and services in the software, telecommunications and retail industries. His expertise includes software strategy and managing complex IT systems to deliver business value.
  • Peter Hynes
    Chief Procurement Officer

    Peter brings 15+ years’ retail experience to his role of Chief Procurement Officer, having previously worked as Commercial Director (Wholesale) for Navi Group, and prior to that for Lidl Ireland and Applegreen in a variety of Senior Commercial and Operational roles.

  • Philip Morrissey
    National Sales Manager
    Philip is our National Sales Manager. In his previous role within Navi as a Business Development Manager, Philip was also responsible for the recruitment of new pharmacies into Axium and other products and services within the Navi offering. Prior to Navi, Philip worked for Fleming Medical as Field Sales Team Lead.
  • Clodagh Maguire
    Business Development Manager
    Clodagh joined Navi group in 2021 as a BDM for the Connacht and Ulster region, bringing vast experience from her time in Cahill May Robert’s and Uniphar. Since coming into her role as Business Development Manager, Clodagh has helped further cement Axium Buying Group as Ireland’s Number 1 community pharmacy procurement platform.
  • Jean Tomkins
    Business Development Manager
    Jean joined Navi Group as Business Development Manager for the Greater Leinster region in February 2024, managing a broad customer base of Axium Buying Group, iGnite and DispenSense customers, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge with her from her experience in community pharmacy, most recently in United Drug.

    Sarah made the move into her new role as Business Development Manager for North Leinster in August 2024, bringing a vibrance and fresh perspective to her customer base, leveraging her vast array of industry experience, most recently in Fleming Medical.
  • Paul Coleman
    Business Development Manager
    Paul is the newest member to Navi’s ever expanding field team, joining in 2024 as Business Development Manager for the Munster region. Paul’s impact can already be felt across his Axium Buying group customers, through his array of retail pharmacy knowledge built up through his years of experience with Scope, Life and Ocean Healthcare.
